Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, information systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5–7 years in HR operations, HRIS, or data-heavy HR role.
  • Experience managing HR data, reporting, audits, and metrics using Cognos Analytics, Power BI and advanced Excel
  • Heavy experience in UKG Pro, UKG WFM, and Cognos Analytics

Responsibilities

  • Own and optimize HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
  • Configure and maintain UKG Pro and WFM to reflect HR processes.
  • Design and maintain standard and ad hoc HR reports and dashboards.
  • Support compliance, regulatory, and audit reporting with accurate data.
  • Support benefits processes including enrollments and data reconciliation.
  • Communicate effectively and work in a cooperative team; adhere to policies.
  • Hybrid position in Nashville; in-office training four days, then Tue-Thu in office.

Overview

The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s largest small business advocacy organization, is looking to hire a Sr. HRIS Analyst to join it's Nasvhille, TN based HR Team.

Responsibilities

HR Process Ownership & Optimization (Primary Focus)

  • Support and continuously improve HR operational processes across the employee lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, job and pay changes, timekeeping, benefits administration, and offboarding.
  • Partner with HR and business stakeholders toidentifyprocess gaps, inefficiencies, and compliance risks; recommend and implement improvements.

Data Management, Reporting & Analytics (Expanded Technical Focus)

  • Configure and maintain UKG Pro and WFM functionality to accurately reflect approved HR and workforce processes.
  • Design, build,validate, andmaintainstandard and ad hoc reports and dashboardssupporting HR operations, Total Rewards, Payroll, and leadership.
  • Support compliance, regulatory, and audit reporting (e.g., EEO, ACA, payroll/time audits) withaccurateand well‑documented data.

Benefits Process & System Support (Secondary Focus)

  • Support HR benefits processes including enrollments, qualifying life events, eligibility reviews, and open enrollment.
  • Provide benefits‑related data analysis, reporting, audits, and reconciliation support.
  • Support benefits‑related reporting and carrier data validation.

Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; work outcomes must meet and / or exceed productivity and quality standards. Must be able to work as part of a cooperative team environment independent of direct supervision; adhere to Company and Department policies and procedures. Performs other projects as needed.

Hybrid position- Must be in Nashville, TN - 4 days a week in office during training then Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in office once training is completed.

Salary Range for position - $80,000-$105,000

NFIB has a robust benefits package - including up to 25 PTO days a year, 5% match on 401k, Parental leave, and more.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, ora relatedfield (or equivalent experience).
  • 5–7 years of experiencein HR operations, HRIS, or a data‑heavy HR role.
  • Demonstrated experience managing HR data, reporting, audits, and metrics using Cognos Analytics, Power BI and advanced Excel
  • Must have heavy experience in UKG Pro, UKG WFM, and Cognos Analytics
