Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, IS, business or related field.
• 5+ years HRIS experience focused on Time & Attendance and Absence Management.
• Experience with UKG in a multi-state and union environment (1,000+ employees) preferred.
• Experience implementing HRIS in a matrixed organization.
• Strong understanding of timekeeping, absence, and leave compliance (FMLA, state leave).
• Ability to build reports and dashboards using UKG Pro Reporting, Excel, and data visualization tools.
• Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end UKG Time & Attendance implementation with a PM partner.
• Serve as primary HRIS SME for time tracking and absences.
• Participate in requirements, design reviews, testing, and UAT.
• Support change management, documentation, and end-user training.
• Own configuration and enhancements post go-live.
• Manage audits, feature deployments, testing, and upgrades.
• Administer U.S. absence and leave plans in Workday.
• Coordinate with HR, Payroll, Legal, and vendors for policy alignment.
• Troubleshoot time/absence issues with root-cause analysis.
• Travel up to 25% during the implementation.

Hexcel is currently seeking a Sr. HRIS Analyst for our Amesbury, MA location. Other potential locations include Salt Lake City, UT, Casa Grande, AZ or Decatur, AL. This role offers a hybrid work environment (3 days in the office/2 days at home) plus travel as needed to US Hexcel sites.

As a Sr. HRIS Analyst, you will sit at the intersection of people, technology, and business transformation at a global aerospace company. You'll play a pivotal role in delivering a high-impact UKG Time & Attendance implementation, helping create a seamless employee experience while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and operational excellence across our workforce.

As a key member of the HRIS Technology Team, you won't just support systems, you'll influence how work gets done. From partnering with HR, Payroll, Legal, and Operations leaders to designing solutions that improve efficiency and employee experience, you'll be a trusted expert driving meaningful change across the organization. Your work will directly impact critical processes such as time tracking, absence management, payroll accuracy, and workforce compliance, creating lasting value for both employees and the business.

Summary pay range: $95,170-$163,148 annual salary.

What you will do:

• Partner with an external Project Manager to support the end‑to‑end implementation of UKG Time & Attendance.
• Act as the primary HRIS subject matter expert for time tracking and absence requirements, translating business needs into system configuration
• Participate in requirements gathering, design reviews, testing, data validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Support change management activities, including documentation, training materials, and end‑user support readiness
• Serve as the primary system owner for UKG Time & Attendance post go‑live, including configuration, enhancements, and issue resolution
• Manage ongoing system audits, new feature deployments, testing cycles, and system upgrades to ensure data integrity and system performance is optimum
• Administer and maintain U.S. absence and leave plans in Workday, including configuration changes and compliance updates
• Partner with HR, Payroll, Legal, and external vendors to ensure alignment with HR policies, collective bargaining agreements, and regulatory requirements
• Troubleshoot complex time, absence, and leave issues, providing root‑cause analysis and sustainable solutions
• Travel will be up to 25% during the implementation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
• 5+ years of HRIS experience with a strong focus on Time & Attendance and/or Absence Management
• Hands‑on experience with UKG in a multi-state and union environment for 1,000+ employees is preferred
• Experience supporting system implementations in a matrixed organization
• Strong understanding of timekeeping, absence, and leave compliance (e.g., FMLA, state leave programs)
• Proven ability to partner effectively with external consultants and internal stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to build and interpret reports and dashboards using UKG Pro Reporting, Excel, and data visualization tools.
• Ability to manage competing priorities across project and operational workstreams
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non‑technical audiences
