Amazon is looking for a Sr. HR Business Partner to support the Robotics organization. This is a unique opportunity to work in lockstep with teams who are inventing the world’s most technology.

Role

The Sr. HR Business Partner will coach business clients, design and deliver talent solutions to business problems, and advise executive leaders on business and organizational design strategies.

To be successful, you must understand business priorities and translate them into the highest impact work. You’ll help business leaders look around corners with data-driven recommendations that improve organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and talent development. You will drive strategic initiatives related to organizational design and effectiveness, culture, inclusion, and other opportunities that you uncover.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Genuine curiosity and ability to interpret business goals and recommend new approaches to talent acquisition and management.
  • Coaching and mentoring leaders.
  • Ability to write strategic narratives (e.g. organizational health, talent planning, etc.) that directly affect the business to propose people-focused solutions and drive business outcomes.
  • Creative problem solving that works backwards from the end customer and the business client.
  • Success in creating and driving effective career development, retention, and recognition programs.
  • Being an enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create meaningful client relationships.
  • The ability to think big but also not be afraid to roll up your sleeves.
  • The ability to develop and execute on a talent planning strategy.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while continually moving initiatives forward.
  • Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8+ years of HR experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience handling ambiguous or undefined challenges through strong problem solving abilities
  • HRBP experience supporting tech populations
  • Prior executive coaching experience
  • Strong analytical capabilities - the ability to identify the right people metrics and implement solutions to drive positive change
  • Strong business acumen
  • Strong communication and writing skills

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
