Job Summary:

The Human Resources Plant Leader is the key HR strategic business partner within the Life Science Solutions plant in Noblesville, IN. This role will develop and execute critical business and organizational strategies, talent and labor management, and strategic support for both salaried and hourly roles. This role is plant-based.

This site has 3 buildings that support manufacturing, warehouse, and office space producing equipment that supports the healthcare and Biopharma industries. As the primary site of this business unit, this role offers an opportunity to lead a team of human resources professionals, engage and support operations leaders, and provide exceptional human resources support.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as key HR strategic business partner with business leadership teams to develop and execute critical business and organizational strategies.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and counsel on matters related to talent, organizational change, human capital, labor relations, employee engagement, etc.
  • Build positive relationships with operations and business partners, HR colleagues, and experts to effectively deliver on business objectives and resolve issues.
  • Be a credible coach and confidante to these leadership teams, as well as a strong employee advocate.
  • Lead a team of plant HR professionals, developing and building HR capability.
  • Understand the points of connection between the business strategy and the people strategy; provide alternative insights and options into key business issues.
  • Develop and execute HR plans, processes, and programs aligned with business objectives, including organizational design, succession planning, talent management/acquisition, goal alignment, employee engagement, and communications.
  • Provide guidance to leadership on talent management/development and succession planning to ensure the right talent capabilities and bench strength are developed to support the business.
  • Serve as expert in change management processes to positively impact organizational effectiveness; provides guidance and coaching to leadership team on change management.
  • Drive and enable cultural transformation to support a Diverse and Inclusive environment.
  • Develop a sustainable strategic workforce plan for the organization.
  • Collaborate with peer HR leaders to share best practices, critical needs issues, and business initiatives.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on organizational development related matters, including organizational analysis, strategy, structure, and key processes to support organizational/business needs.
  • Build and support an employee engagement strategy that facilitates organizational performance and path towards our desired culture.
  • Coach and advise on appropriate total rewards strategies, programs, and tools to enhance organizational performance and employee engagement.
  • Focus on operational excellence through innovation, efficiency, process excellence, and accountability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or equivalent required, Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in the Human Resources Function
  • SPHR/PHR certification preferred
  • Must possess strong skills/experience in business partnering
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and delivery with proven, measurable results for managing change.
  • Strong talent management, leadership development, performance management, and org dev. experience.
  • Demonstrated success in creating an environment of trust with clients where integrity is unquestioned
  • Ability to analyze HR metrics for use in developing goals and driving key business strategies and objectives
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and communications skills with all levels of the organization required
  • Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures business compliance

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $120,000 to $170,000

Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
