The Role

We are seeking a dynamic Sr. Human Resource Business Partner who can support a unique and innovative team-based culture that promotes professional and personal development. As a key member of our strategic HR team, you will contribute to our success by ensuring business practices are aligned with Human Resources strategies, and by providing a high level of HR support to members throughout the organization. You will nurture, develop, and grow our greatest asset—our people. Using your HR experience and knowledge of our business, you will guide clients through people-related matters, support leadership coaching, provide feedback, and manage performance. You will help create a work environment where everyone can thrive. The ideal candidate will have no more than 9 years of experience.

Travel Requirements

In this role you will be expected to travel up to 10% to other offices as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Strategically partner with senior leaders and management to implement workforce planning initiatives.
  • Communicate and explain HR policies, procedures, standards, and government regulations.
  • Objectively coach management and employees through complex, difficult, and sensitive issues.
  • Make recommendations to resolve employee relations issues in accordance with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulations or law.
  • Ensure employee data accuracy in our HCM, UltiPro.
  • Work with other Centers of Excellence within HR to manage the full employee life cycle.
  • Design and apply change management and organizational development strategies to support business strategies.
  • Ensure HR services are provided to internal clients, identify opportunities where HR can add value, and maintain current knowledge of HR issues.
  • Apply employee relations and employment practices to create a positive, ethical, effective work environment.
  • Familiarity with Federal/State/Local labor and pay laws.
Required Skills and Professional Experience
  • Understands the business and corporate processes to align HR strategy with the business strategy.
  • Ability to understand employee opinions, monitor the impact of decisions on people, and advise senior management on concerns.
  • Effectively applies performance management to create a high-performance culture.
  • Ability to develop clear, actionable steps from overall strategy.
  • Knowledge of employment law and state pay laws.
  • Demonstrated strong judgment and Employee Relations experience with working knowledge of other HR areas including performance management, training and development, recruitment and onboarding.
  • Ability to partner with colleagues to influence broader HR strategies and practices for Presidio.
  • Excellent judgment, ethical compass, and ability to make sound decisions and develop creative solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinker and problem solver with the ability to manage multiple initiatives.
  • Collaborative with strong, positive relationships across a matrix organization.
  • Customer service orientation and project management skills.

Preferred Skills and Professional Experience
  • PHR, SPHR, and/or SHRM Certification
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
  • 5-7+ years of relative experience in a corporate HRBP role
  • Experience supporting a sales or delivery organization
  • HRBP in a tech environment (or other fast-paced sales industry) with proven ability to provide strategic HR consulting
