Job description

Oversees the administration, maintenance, and upgrade of Human Resources (HR) technology systems and Human Resource Information Services (HRIS). Coordinates project management, planning, system design, testing, configuration, implementation, and rollout of moderately complex HR technology projects and process improvements. Serves as a subject matter expert for at least one HR technology system. Responsible for delivering data and analytical insights to support HR best practices through complex analysis, testing, reporting, dashboard creation, data visualization, and ensuring compliance. Assists with process review engagements to gather data, analyze, and develop strategies to enhance controls within HRA business processes.

Essential Functions
  1. Analyzes HR systems and develops major technical automated solutions, including business/statistical analysis and reporting to support business strategies.
  2. Analyzes data methods, evaluates, develops, tests, and implements processes.
  3. Designs and implements improvements to existing processes to ensure cost-saving, time-saving, quality improvement, and customer satisfaction.
  4. Leads medium complexity projects or supports senior project managers on high complexity projects, providing clear communication on project status to stakeholders and leadership.
  5. Assists with dashboard design and data visualization tools to customize views of metrics over large data sets.
  6. Coordinates troubleshooting with end users and works with system vendors to resolve issues and improve HR technology systems.
  7. Manages and develops custom queries for HR management, staff, and others; coordinates scheduled and ad hoc reporting.
  8. Serves as project lead on moderately complex HR technology systems to support policy and process changes.
  9. Builds relationships with operating companies to share successful practices and promote effective utilization.
  10. Provides analytical, functional, and project management support for multiple HR projects and initiatives.
  11. Maintains HRIS foundation data structure for compatibility with operational and cross-functional areas.
  12. Performs periodic audits of critical data elements, system configurations, and processes.
  13. Troubleshoots HR technology system issues and communicates with technical staff and users.
  14. Serves as a subject matter expert for HR processes, resources, and programs; mentors lower-level analysts.
  15. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Human Resources, or related field.

Minimum Experience

Four (4)+ years experience in HR technology systems or related area.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of company HR policies and procedures.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
  • Knowledge of data mining and reporting tools.
  • Working knowledge of HR technology systems, including HRC systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to handle complex and confidential information.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues, utilize resources, and develop solutions.
  • Ability to mentor, coach, and serve as a knowledge resource.
  • Ability to act as a change agent and project leader across teams.
Job Conditions

Minimal travel required.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of state and local pay policies and laws, experience with UKG Pro Workforce Management or UKG Workforce Central, timekeeping experience, troubleshooting skills.

Pay Transparency

This range is an estimate of starting salaries across potential locations. Actual pay depends on experience, market, location, and other factors. Benefits include health, vision, dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay Range

U.S.: $5,364.26 - $10,898.39/month; Colorado: $5,364.26 - $10,444.28/month; New York: $5,662.27 - $10,898.39/month; NYC: $6,854.33 - $10,898.39/month.

Additional Details

This position can be remote within the US, excluding AK, HI, and US territories, with occasional onsite work at FedEx campuses.
