What You Need to Know

The Clinical L&D Specialist is responsible for onboarding and ongoing development of clinicians, ensuring they are prepared to deliver high-quality patient care. This role supports onboarding and training of field clinicians and clinical back-office roles, with travel as needed, since it is a remote position.

• Provides detailed instruction, support, and oversight of onboarding programs
• Teaches onboarding classes
• Trains clinical leaders on using HCHB and Muse for planning and supporting patient care training, including proper use of clinical software
• Maintains a detailed training calendar
• Conducts ongoing staff development in clinical, customer service, and regulatory areas
• Develops training content in collaboration with Instructional Design team, SMEs, sponsors, and managers
• Works with Clinical Learning & Development and Clinical Resources teams on training and in-services for clinical leadership
• Performs back-to-bedside visits
• Performs other duties as needed

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing in the required state(s)
• At least 2 years hospice care experience and strong knowledge of regulations
• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team
• Valid driver’s license, insured vehicle, and good driving record
• Teaching or training experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Adept with multimedia training platforms
• Ability to evaluate training options and design effective programs
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Required Certifications:

• Current RN license in good standing
• CHPN preferred
