Job summary

Community Health Network is seeking an Health Information Management Technician to oversee transcription, patient data entry and processing of medical records. This role coordinates daily operations and supports the Director by directing staff activities.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years in medical record keeping, coding and filing, plus experience with transcription equipment, a typewriter and word processors and a 60 wpm typing speed. Supervisory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years medical record keeping, medical coding and filing experience.
• Experience with transcription equipment, typewriter and word processor (60 wpm typing skills).
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
• Education: High school degree and basic college courses to include medical terminology, basic human anatomy and physiology.
