Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is hiring a health and safety professional to lead policy design, program development and regulatory compliance in Torrance, CA. You will help ensure safe facilities, procedures, and training across sites.

Qualifications include 5+ years of health and safety experience, advanced degrees preferred, and certifications such as CIH or CSP. Strong Excel/Visio skills and aerospace/manufacturing exposure are valued.

Qualifications

• 5 years of directly related experience in health and safety practice.
• Strong experience and technical knowledge with occupational safety and injury prevention programs.
• Certifications in safety and/or industrial hygiene (CIH or CSP).
• Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related discipline.
• Master’s degree in occupational health and safety.
• Experience in aerospace or manufacturing.
• Experience with Cal/OSHA safety regulations.
• Experience with safety engineering practices such as machine guarding, LOTO, PPE, training, contractor safety and emergency preparedness.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access and Visio.
