Job description

Sr. Hardware Engineer

You will be responsible for designing printed circuit boards with Client's silicon, along with external vendor silicon. These projects range from full-sized mainboards to small single-purpose daughter cards.

The candidate will be part of the hardware development team, specifically supporting the product development phases, including development, bring-up, electrical validation, and customer support.

This is a small team of 15 working in a fast-paced, warm environment.

Required experience includes power circuit and high-speed design from concept through manufacturing. Extensive and complete design experience—covering design, debugging, testing, validation, and manufacturing—is essential.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

1. Hardware development steps including concept, architecture, part selection, schematic/layout, bring-up, validation, and documentation.
2. All aspects of printed circuit board (PCB) design, including Signal Integrity, Power Integrity, PCB layout, power circuitry design, high-speed bus design, system debug, and validation.
3. Tool experience: Cadence and Allegro, version 16.2 and above.
4. Experience in developing hardware products and functional blocks for more than 7 years.
5. Good knowledge and skills in hardware systems and the latest high-speed interfaces.
6. Experience with Cadence PCB design tools, including Concept and Allegro.
7. Experience with the latest hardware measurement equipment.
8. Experience in PCB layout and hardware bring-up/debugging.
9. Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
