  4. Leading strategic sourcing events, supplier interfacing, and resolving complex manufacturing issues.
  5. Steering contractual negotiations with suppliers, executing purchase agreements and statements of work.
  6. Supporting timely and efficient CAPEX design, execution, and lifecycle management of new factories and equipment projects with manufacturing engineering partners and cross-functional teams.
  7. Driving cost and commercial value negotiations with detailed data and analysis.
  8. Managing supplier and tiered supplier performance using first principles and key performance metrics.
  9. Monitoring CAPEX spend forecasts and risks with the Rivian Finance team, providing internal guidance for improvements.

  11. Communicating directly with senior leadership on key strategic supplier and technology decisions.
  12. Creating should-cost models to support program budgets with cross-functional teams.
  13. Driving commercial and business decisions, including establishing technology investment roadmaps.
  14. Expanding and supporting planning of Rivian's global CAPEX supplier footprint.
