Job summary

High Companies, based in Lancaster, PA, seeks a Sr. Functional Analyst (SAP FICO) to drive SAP S/4HANA projects and daily support for finance modules.

You will partner with SBUs/SRUs to implement new functionality, modernize processes, and automate workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy. Strong communication and leadership are essential for success in this multi‑unit environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS, IS, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 6+ years configuring, implementing and supporting SAP FICO; S/4HANA experience/certifications a plus.
• Strong understanding of integrations between SAP modules and experience in Project Systems or Manufacturing environments.
• Experience integrating 3rd party systems for AP, Sales and Use Tax, Banking, Expense Reporting, Payroll.
• Proficient understanding of Accounting Standards and Financial Reporting beyond implementation.
• Experience working with senior management to set roadmaps and priorities.
• Experience implementing SAP process automation and simplification, including external tools.
• Experience in a consulting environment supporting multiple operating units is a plus.

General Description

The Sr. Functional Analyst (SAP FICO) plays a critical role in projects, process improvements and day-to-day support of the SAP S/4HANA application with primary focus in Financial Accounting and Controlling modules. This position will be responsible for working with the Strategic Business Units (SBU) and Strategic Resource Units (SRU) to implement new functionality, modernize processes and implement automation to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Experience, Skills, Training, And/Or Education Required

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 6+ years of recent experience in configuring, implementing, and supporting one or more SAP FICO modules. S/4HANA experience and/or certification a plus.
• Strong understanding of integrations between SAP modules. Experience in a Project Systems and/or Manufacturing environment.
• Experience integrating and supporting 3rd party systems or external data feeds for financial processes such as Account Payable, Sales and Use Tax, Banking, Expense Reporting, Payroll and/or other related processes.
• Proficient understanding of Accounting Standards and Financial Reporting beyond system implementation.
• Experience working with senior level management to establish roadmaps, set priorities, and communicate status.
• Experience implementing process automation and simplification within SAP or using external tools.
• Experience working in a consulting environment, supporting multiple operating units and business models a plus.

Reporting Relationships

The Sr. Functional Analyst operates as part of the Enterprise Solutions team and reports to the Manager of Enterprise Applications. The Sr. Functional Analyst has responsibility for the support and implementation of SAP and related systems. In addition, this role may support additional Enterprise Systems as needed, such as Salesforce, Boomi, data warehouse, etc., across the 12 companies that constitute High.
