Job description

LinkedIn is the world's largest professional network, built to create economic opportunity for every member of the global workforce. Our products help people make powerful connections, discover exciting opportunities, build necessary skills, and gain valuable insights every day. We're also committed to providing transformational opportunities for our own employees by investing in their growth. We aspire to create a culture that's built on trust, care, inclusion, and fun – where everyone can succeed.

Join us to transform the way the world works.

At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

Campaign Manager is the platform businesses use to plan, run, and measure advertising on LinkedIn, and it powers a multi-billion-dollar business. Our team owns the core of that experience: how advertisers create and manage campaigns, and how they understand performance in Marketing Overview. Our goal is to make advertising on LinkedIn simple enough that any business can succeed at it, regardless of size or sophistication. We care about advertiser outcomes and growth rather than features shipped, so engineers here work directly with product, design, data science, and go-to-market partners to decide what to build and ship it to advertisers.

Responsibilities
  • You will develop multi-tier scalable, high-volume performing, and reliable user-centric applications that operate 24x7.
  • Partner with product and design to work through ambiguous requirements and make sound product and engineering tradeoffs.
  • Instrument experiences, evaluate results, and use experiments and product data to guide iteration.
  • Collaborate across frontend, backend, data, and machine learning systems to deliver reliable end-to-end experiences.
  • Develop reusable patterns and components that support a unified campaign creation experience. You will produce high-quality software that is unit tested, code reviewed and checked in regularly for continuous integration.
Basic Qualifications
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
  • 2+ years of industry experience in software design, development, and algorithm related solutions.
  • 2+ years programming experience in languages such as Javascript, HTML, CSS, Python, Java, C/C++, C#, Objective-C, Ruby, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BS and 5+ years of relevant work experience, MS and 4+ years of relevant work experience, or PhD and 2+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across engineering, product, design, and data disciplines.
  • Experience using instrumentation, experimentation, or product metrics to understand and improve user experiences
  • Sound judgment in frontend architecture, state management, component design, testing, and API integration.
  • Experience building polished user interfaces with close attention to usability, performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
  • Experience with Rest, GraphQL, and server-side web technologies (eg: Java, Python). Good knowledge of SQL
  • Comfort using Codex, Cursor, Claude, or comparable agentic coding tools in day-to-day software development.
Suggested Skills
  • Full stack – HTML, CSS, Javascript, Java, Python, SQL, REST, GraphQL
You will Benefit from our Culture

We strongly believe in the well-being of our employees and their families. That is why we offer generous health and wellness programs and time away for employees of all levels.
