Job summary

Hoodie Analytics is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Node.js/TypeScript Developer in the Boston area. You will own the full lifecycle of large features, collaborate across teams, and deliver robust web applications with React-based front-ends and API integrations (REST/GraphQL).

Emphasis on SEO-friendly development and clean CSS is expected. The role involves leveraging Next.js and PostgreSQL, with Docker/AWS familiarity considered a plus.

• Ownership of full feature lifecycles with minimal supervision.

Senior Full-Stack Node.js/TypeScript Developer

Main Tech:

• TypeScript (NodeJS)

Must-haves:

• ~7+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript software development
• Ability to take ownership of the full lifecycle of large features/initiatives with little
• supervision/’hand-holding’
• Excellent understanding and knowledge of React
• Experience with API implementation (REST/GraphQL)
• Experience in SEO-focused web development
• Reasonable CSS skills

Ideally, you would have experience with:

• Unit & E2E Testing
• Solid, recent NextJS experience
• GraphQL and REST APIs
• Python
• Comfortable with Postgres/relational databases
• Experience with designing mock-ups using tools like Balsamiq and/or Figma

Bonus points if you have experience with:

• Material UI
• ElasticSearch
• Advanced SQL (Postgres)
• E-Commerce/retail website development experience
• Cypress
• tRPC
• Algolia
• Basic AWS/DevOps understanding (Docker, EC2, S3)

At Hoodie Analytics, we are transitioning to using LLMs for more and more of our software
development - from planning changes/features, adding code and unit tests, to reviewing PRs.
Any candidate must be keen to work with AI tools in order to dramatically improve their
efficiency/throughput.
We are not ‘married’ to any particular system, although currently we all use Cursor AI with
Cursor Pro subscriptions
