Job summary

Brooksource is seeking a senior software engineer in the United States to build and enhance REST APIs and cloud-native apps on AWS. You will design PostgreSQL databases, write clean code, and collaborate with global teams in an Agile environment to deliver scalable software solutions.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years developing Node.js applications
• 5+ years building front-end apps with React.js
• 4+ years developing cloud-native apps in AWS (Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, Kafka, Step Functions)
• 5+ years designing PostgreSQL databases
• Experience with Jest and React Testing Library
• Strong Agile and collaborative development practices
• Proficiency in building and enhancing scalable REST APIs
• Excellent collaboration with product managers, architects, and global teams

• 4+ years of experience developing cloud-native applications in AWS (e.g., Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, Kafka, Step Functions)
• 5+ years of experience designing and developing PostgreSQL databases
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library
• Strong understanding of Agile software development practices
• Proficiency in building and enhancing scalable REST APIs
• Excellent collaboration skills with product managers, architects, and global development teams
• Commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices
