Job summary

TekCommands Inc. is seeking a Sr Full stack Java Lead to join our Denver-area onsite team in Greenwood Village, CO.

You will drive full-stack development focused on Java, Spring Boot, and microservices, coordinating onshore and offshore teams while delivering RESTful APIs and scalable architectures. Candidates should demonstrate strong experience with Kafka (including Kafka Connect), Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and front-end tech (HTML/CSS/JS with React or Angular).

Qualifications

• 7+ years in full-stack development with a Java focus.
• Deep Spring Boot and microservices expertise.
• Experience coordinating onshore/offshore teams.
• Kafka including Kafka Connect experience.
• Front-end skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript with React/Angular.
• Docker and Kubernetes for containerization/orchestration.
• RESTful APIs design/integration with data sources.
• NoSQL databases such as MongoDB/DocumentDB and Redis.
• Kafka as a messaging backbone; CI/CD with Harness; Splunk monitoring.

Experience in successfully coordinating and leading development efforts with onshore and offshore teams. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment, including managing distributed teams effectively.
