Job summary

Infera Health seeks a senior product-focused engineer to own significant product surface areas, from the customer-facing app to AI workflow services. You will shape architecture, set team standards, and ship software impacting how medical devices reach patients.

You will design relational schemas, APIs, and multi-tenant systems, while collaborating with founders and customers to translate complex problems into reliable software.

Qualifications

• 6+ years building production web applications with depth on both frontend and backend.
• Strong React + TypeScript and Python experience.
• Experience designing relational schemas and multi-tenant architectures.
• End-to-end QAAutomation experience is preferred.
• DevOps and cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP.

The role

You'll own significant surface area across our product — from the app our customers use daily, to the services that power AI workflows over their quality system. You'll make architectural calls, help set the bar for the team, and ship things that directly affect how the next wave of medical devices gets to patients.

What you'll do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of meaningful product areas
• Design schemas, APIs, and frontend data flows that hold up under real customer load and regulatory scrutiny
• Work directly with the founders and customers; translate ambiguous problems into released software
• Mentor other engineers through code review, pairing, and design discussions

What we're looking for

• 6+ years building production web applications, with real depth on both sides of the stack
• Mastery over SOTA AI tooling
• Strong React + TypeScript and strong Python
• Experience designing relational schemas, background jobs, and multi-tenant architectures
• A strong track record of delivering with quality in mind. Experience in end-to-end QA Automation is strongly preferred.
• Track record of owning systems from design through production operation
• DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure experience preferred (designing, building, and operating production systems on AWS or GCP)
• A bias toward shipping
