Laurel is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our Product & Engineering org. You will build scalable software across our stack, from telemetry to user-facing timekeeping products.

We are looking for an exceptional Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our Product & Engineering org. You'll build scalable, reliable software across our stack, from native telemetry and cloud services to the user-facing products that automate professionals' timekeeping. As a Senior Engineer, you will own complex work end to end, raise the bar for the engineers around you, and work on a charter to solve high-level business challenges with a collaborative, cross-functional team. Your curiosity will serve you well in asking the right questions to understand the customer problems we're solving, and your ability to learn quickly and design quality software will let you deliver value to our customers incrementally. Ownership comes from the ground up --- we empower our teams to understand and make an impact on the business. This role is not tied to a single team. During the interview process we'll get to know your strengths and interests and consider you across any of our Product & Engineering teams (DFP - Digital Foot Print, Signal, Timekeeping, and Enterprise to find the best mutual fit.

This role reports into our Product & Engineering leadership and works alongside engineers, product managers, and designers across our teams.
We expect deep knowledge of, and strongly-held opinions about, some of the technologies below (or similar). We want to hear your thoughts on best practices, patterns, code smells, and ways to improve performance --- what would you teach our other engineers, and what has bitten you in the past?
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Proven ability to engage with customers and understand their needs.
Experience in AI is preferred.
