Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer for a 12+ month contract in Bengaluru, KS. The role focuses on building scalable software using Java, C#, Python, .NET, and Spring Boot, with emphasis on microservices and REST APIs.

You will enhance on-prem and PAAS applications, migrate components to AWS, implement serverless patterns, design reliable APIs, and contribute to a culture of TDD/CI/CD while collaborating across Agile teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years engineering software in AWS cloud or similar.
• Proficient in JAVA, Spring Boot, Angular, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with CI/CD, TDD/BDD, and secure coding.
• Strong understanding of microservices and API design.
• Experience with on-prem and cloud migrations to AWS.

Job description

Immediate need for a talented Senior Full Stack Developer. This is a 12 + Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Bengaluru, KS.

Pay Range: $26.24/hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop amazingly efficient and effective software using Java, C#, Python, .Net, Spring Boot, Microservices, APIs
• Enhance and maintain on prem and internal PAAS applications, and actively rework these to AWS along project timelines
• Help to design and implement serverless patterns from containerized applications
• Build industry standard APIs and help with establishing, consuming & routing calls, connectivity protocols and policy
• Design, develop and implement architecture patterns that are optimized for SLAs, reliability, and cost
• Look upstream and downstream to see around corners and anticipate future consequences for immediate technical choices
• Help to establish and grow a culture of software craftsmanship best practices, including TDD/BDD and Test Automation (both Unit and Integration), Continuous Integration, and Continuous Deployment
• Drive performance improvements including monitoring, detailed metrics, problems, trends, and costs, in order to determine solutions, required process changes, etc. that will make the function more efficient
• Ensure adherence to security standards and compliance with privacy rules and regulations early in the development
• Be aggressive to resolve and prevent technical debt
• Actively engage in Agile software development activities, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives, with an aim to continuously improve
• Collaborate frequently to share ideas and gain perspective. Communicate critical information in a clear and timely manner, listen to others, and seek clarification to confirm shared understanding
• Initiate and lead code reviews and continuous improvement efforts
• Create usable documentation/playbook(s) Effectively analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs - communicate these across the team
• Optimize pace and meet deadlines
• Administer product upgrades and patches
• Provide assistance and support other team members where required, including troubleshooting and maintenance of production systems/programs/applications
• 24/7 On-call support rotation function is a component of this role

Key Requirements and Technology Experience

• Design and develop business, application, data, and infrastructure solutions, seek opportunities to optimize performance, maintain and troubleshoot application components as required.
• Design and develop with consideration for Non-Functional Requirements (Scalability, Reliability, Availability, Observability, Fault Tolerance)
• Ensure that the Client methodology, standards, and procedures are adopted and implemented
• Design solutions to meet functional and technical requirements.
• Write front-end and back-end code following the TDD (Test Driven Development) practice.
• Develop delivery pipelines and automated deployment scripts.
• Configure services, such as databases and monitoring.
• Fix problems from the development phase through the production phase, which requires being on call for production support.
• Designing, prototyping and demonstrating new features and components of front-end and back-end to users to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Assisting in the design, implementation and optimization of related approaches, tools and workflows.
• Collaborate with the technical teams, business teams, and product managers to ensure that the code that is developed meets their vision.
• Align to Security/Compliance frameworks and controls requirements.
• Implement Service Reliability Engineering.

Minimum qualifications

• Experience engineering software within an Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure or other prominent enterprise cloud provider.
• 4 or more years of hands-on experience as a Software Engineer or related technical engineering capacity.
• Relevant technologies and programming languages include JAVA, Spring Boot, IBM MQ, Oracle Database table design, queries and optimization, Angular Solid grasp of Agile Methodologies.
• Demonstrable experience with DevOps principles, practices and tools.
• Understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle, building CI/CD pipelines and practicing Test Driven Development is a requirement.
• Fundamental Awareness of Application Security principles and 12-factor application development principles is required.
• Experience with source control, build tools and GIT (GitHub, Bitbucket or other) is required.
