Job summary

Spatial Front, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Full Stack Developer to support our modernization team, primarily working remotely with occasional customer-site meetings in the Arlington, VA area.

You will contribute to new feature development and defect fixes for our evolving application, with a focus on scalable UI and robust backend services. Responsibilities include maintaining UI/UX, implementing responsive front-end interfaces with Angular/Typescript, and building RESTful services with Java/Spring

Qualifications

• US citizenship with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Angular experience (4+ yrs).
• Java experience (5+ yrs).
• Spring Boot experience (4+ yrs).
• Spring Data JPA experience (3+ yrs).
• Oracle experience (4+ yrs).
• PL/SQL experience (4+ yrs).
• AWS Cloud Practitioner certification or above (desired).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance existing UI/UX across web application.
• Translate concepts into wireframes and mockups for intuitive UX.
• Participate in project planning, peer reviews, and design/development governance.
• Translate requirements into flowcharts, user stories, UML, and interaction designs.
• Develop cross-browser responsive front-end interfaces using Angular, Typescript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.
• Develop Restful services using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, and Oracle PL/SQL.

Work Location

Remote with availability for meetings on customer site

Project Overview

Development of new features and defect fixes for existing application in preparation for the next Economic Census.

Summary Of Major Job Functions

• Fix defects found in the D-IPSE Web application.
• Upgrade libraries used by the application.
• Add functionality to satisfy change requests.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance existing UI and UX across web application.
• Translate concepts into wireframes and mockups that lead to intuitive user experiences.
• Participate in project/sprint planning, peer reviews, JAD sessions and evaluate project activities for compliance with design/development guidelines and standards.
• Translate requirements in the form of flowcharts, user stories, UML, user stories, and interviews into efficient designs for UI and the services they consume.
• Use storyboarding, user scenario and use cases to capture and develop user requirements, UI Templates and integrate elements into user interaction designs
• Participate in project/sprint planning, peer reviews and evaluate project activities for compliance with design/development guidelines and standards.
• Develop cross-browser compatible responsive front-end interfaces using Angular, Typescript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap
• Develop Restful services using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, and Oracle PL/SQL

Requirements

• US Citizenship with an ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance is required.

• AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification or above is desired
