Job summary

Harnham is seeking a Senior/Staff Frontend Engineer to help build and scale a core platform for a venture-backed travel technology company. You will collaborate with Product and Design to deliver onboarding, workflow management, search, booking experiences and customer interactions.

The role requires 5+ years of frontend experience with React/Vue/Angular and a track record of building scalable, customer-facing applications. Base salary is $160k–$180k with bonus and equity, located in New York.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of frontend web development experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience with React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Experience building stateful and event-driven web applications.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Managers and Designers to define, prioritize, and deliver key product initiatives.
• Build and enhance a web application used for onboarding, workflow management, search functionality, booking experiences, and customer interactions.
• Develop and maintain scalable frontend solutions for customer-facing and internal platforms.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to design and implement end-to-end technical solutions.
• Own projects throughout the full development lifecycle, from architecture through deployment.
• Contribute to frontend best practices, code quality, and application performance.
• Develop integrations with third-party platforms and external systems.
• Help shape the overall user experience through close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
