Job summary

Jeppesen ForeFlight is seeking a sharp, driven Financial Analyst to serve as the revenue and product portfolio owner. In this role, you’ll partner with business leaders to manage financial performance, deliver data-driven insights, and shape planning and forecasting across the revenue and product portfolio.

This hybrid position based in Austin, TX offers exposure to executives and a chance to influence product investments and strategic decisions that drive growth in our aviation software

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related analytical finance role.
• Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, and variance analysis within the SaaS industry.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; able to present results to non-finance audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own revenue portfolio reporting and forecasting across the product portfolio, tracking actuals vs plan.
• Support the annual operating plan and monthly reforecasting with FP&A leadership.
• Build and maintain financial models to support revenue planning and scenario analysis.
• Prepare monthly variance analyses and executive-ready reporting packages.
• Analyze headcount costs, operating expenses, and other metrics to provide actionable recommendations.
• Partner with Accounting to support revenue accruals at month-end close.
• Support ad hoc financial analyses and strategic projects as needed by FP&A leadership.

Jeppesen ForeFlight is seeking a sharp, driven Financial Analyst to serve as a revenue and product portfolio owner. In this role, you’ll have direct visibility into how Jeppesen ForeFlight’s products grow and serve as the financial voice in key business decisions. You’ll partner closely with business leaders to manage financial performance, deliver data-driven insights, and shape planning and forecasting across the revenue and product portfolio. This is a high-impact position

offering meaningful exposure to executives and the chance to directly influence how we invest in our products. This hybrid role is based in Austin, TX.

Key Responsibilities

• Own revenue portfolio reporting and forecasting across the product portfolio, tracking actuals against plan and identifying key drivers of variance so leadership can make informed, timely decisions
• Support the annual operating plan and monthly reforecasting processes in partnership with revenue and product business leaders and the broader FP&A team
• Build and maintain financial models to support revenue planning, scenario analysis, and strategic decision-making that directly inform product investment priorities
• Prepare monthly variance analyses and executive-ready reporting packages to

communicate performance trends and insights to leadership

• Analyze headcount costs, operating expenses, and other financial metrics, providing actionable recommendations to business partners

• Partner with the Accounting Team to support revenue accruals as part of the month-end close process
• Support ad hoc financial analysis and strategic projects as requested by FP&A leadership and revenue portfolio management

Basic Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related analytical finance role
• Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, and variance analysis within the SaaS industry
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to present financial results clearly to non-finance audiences
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships with business partners
• Software or technology industry experience

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA preferred
• Experience with Anaplan, Hyperion Essbase, or similar planning tools
• Passion for aviation or genuine curiosity about the products we build

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well market and business considerations: Summary Pay Range: $98,000.00 -$120,000.00
