Job summary

CONMED in Lithia Springs, GA is seeking a Forklift Operator for our Distribution Center. You will direct, control and monitor warehousing and distribution of materials, loading and unloading, stocking and picking, and operating heavy equipment.

Responsibilities include performing daily equipment checks, cycle-count inventory, and supporting inventory replenishment. Candidates should have 4–6 years forklift experience, familiarity with WMS and RF scanners, and the ability to lift 49 lbs or more.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of forklift experience in manufacturing or warehousing.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanners.
• Ability to read and follow written procedures and work instructions.
• Ability to lift at least 49 lbs with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods from vehicles into correct storage bays according to inventory controls.
• Perform daily equipment checks and service tasks.
• Load trucks in parcel on foot and assist replenishment of inventory.
• Occasionally assist in picking and packing for shipment.
• Support regular audits against policies and procedures.

As a Forklift Operator, in the Distribution Center/Warehouse area you are responsible for directing, controlling and monitoring of the warehousing and distribution of materials or finished goods. Responsible for receiving, stocking, loading and unloading merchandise, picking and operating heavy-duty equipment.
