Prescient Edge is seeking a Sr. Force Protection and Terrorism Threat Analysis Support (CI Specialist) to support a Federal Government client at Fort Meade, MD.

The role conducts all-source intelligence analysis to identify threats to the Army and DoD and delivers finished intelligence responses to RFIs. The ideal candidate will have experience with open-source and intelligence databases, survivability analysis, and experience in producing instruction and briefings.

Qualifications

• All-source intelligence analyst experience using contemporary national IC databases.
• Security clearance TS/SCI with CI POLY required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts research and analysis to produce finished intelligence and responses to RFIs on force protection and foreign terrorist threats.
• Provides all-source analytic support to collections, operations, investigations, and other defense intelligence requirements.
• Identifies foreign intelligence efforts attempting collection of sensitive information and assesses related threats.
• Develops and presents intelligence programs and briefs on collection operations TTPs under DoD authorities.
• Analyzes OSINT, HUMINT, SIGINT and IMINT from diverse sources to identify current and emerging threats.

• Salary range: $100,000 - $130,000. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and the abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.

Responsibilities

• Shall conduct research and analysis to produce finished intelligence and responses to RFI on force protection and foreign terrorist threats to the US Army and the DoD worldwide.
• Conducts analysis using intelligence and information from multiple sources to assess, interpret, forecast, and explain a range of national security issues and developments that are regional or functional in nature.
• Provides all-source analytic support to collections, operations, investigations, and other defense intelligence analytic requirements.
• Identifies, monitors, and assesses foreign intelligence efforts attempting collection of sensitive national security information on U.S. persons, activities and interests, including threats posed by emerging technologies to U.S. operations and interests. Applies understanding of foreign intelligence capabilities / activities and U.S. and foreign partner CI capabilities and TTPs for in-depth analytic research and production of all-source CI studies and contributes to developing CI strategies.
• Conducts, develops, produces, and presents programs of instruction in specified collection operations TTPs, and related or supporting processes, relevant to the various human intelligence and technical intelligence operations under DoD authorities.
• Graduate of in-residence Fundamentals of Intelligence Analysis course or Military Service equivalent.
• Shall analyze OSINT, HUMINT, Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) and Imagery Intelligence (IMINT) reporting from a wide variety of sources available through various Government databases to identify current and emerging threats, ascertain the degree and immediacy of those threats, and make reasoned and well-founded conclusions concerning the future evolution of the threats.
• Shall seek to identify investigative leads and operational opportunities for possible exploitation by Army CI.
• Shall identify intelligence gaps concerning current and emerging threats, and develop intelligence information report evaluations, source-directed requirements, and collection requirements of emphases to focus collection activities against those gaps.
• Shall communicate its analytic findings in written assessments, formal analytic notes, briefings with graphics, written inputs to designated intelligence products or responses to RFIs, and informal verbal briefings regarding participation in working groups, conferences, and one-on-one sessions with consumers of intelligence and counterintelligence information.
• Shall maintain collaborative contact with its counterparts in the greater government intelligence community concerning its analytic efforts and findings to ensure that all threats to the Army and DoD are addressed.
• Shall be assigned to established regional desks supporting existing production requirements for European Command (EUCOM), Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM), Africa Command (AFRICOM), Central Command (CENTCOM), and the Americas Desk which encompasses both the Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) and Northern Command (NORTHCOM) AORs.
• Shall be teamed with Government analysts to provide regional coverage for the entire Combatant Command (COCOM) AOR.
• Shall perform research, analysis and production of FPTAB product lines, including but not limited to the ACIC Terrorism Digest (ATD), Force Protection Analytic Review (FPR), Bi-Weekly Global Sunni Extremist Threat Summary, Bi-Monthly Significant Shia
• Extremist Threat Update, Force Protection Notes (FPN), ACIC Special Reports (ASR), Army Futures Command CI Digest (ACID), and Special Event Threat Assessments. In addition, personnel shall prepare and present briefings as necessary and provide input to the Army Annual Threat Assessment for its assigned AOR, and respond to RFIs.

Requirements

Required Experience:

• All source intelligence analyst experiences utilizing contemporary national IC databases.

Required Education

• High School Diploma- 20 years of relevant experience with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
• Associate’s degree- 16 years of relevant experience with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
• Bachelor’s degree- 14 years of relevant experience with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
• Master’s degree- 12 years of relevant experience with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.

Security Clearance

• Security clearance required TS/SCI with CI POLY or the ability to obtain CI POLY.
