Job summary

Boar's Head Brand is seeking a Senior Food Service Specialist to support the Food Services Manager in menu planning and meal preparation for the 3rd shift. The role involves directing workflow in the Food Services Department and ensuring safety and efficiency through adherence to SOPs and GMPs.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, be able to work independently, and communicate effectively with the team to meet customer requirements and company policies.

A SENIOR FOOD SERVICE SPECIALIST assists the Food Services Manager in planning menus and is also responsible for the preparation of meals and directing workflow in the Food Services Department. I.Essential Functions

• Responsible for cooking and preparing meals for the 3rd shift
• Responsible for getting the meat orders for 2nd and 3rd
• Must be able to multi-task with minimal supervision.
• Must work as a team player, ensuring standard operating specifications are achieved and in a safe/efficient manner
• Communicate well with other team members
• Must follow the Company’s GMP’s, SOP’s, plant rules, other policies, and codes of conduct.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions
• Strive to satisfy the requirements of both internal and external customers
• Other duties as assigned.
• Work with minimal supervision
• Ability to stand, reach, stoop, kneel or crouch for extended periods of time
