Job summary

BENCHMARK is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee operations in a luxury setting. Responsibilities include managing food & beverage quality, staff training, and ensuring exceptional guest service.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and previous managerial experience in high-end hospitality. Salary range is $65,000 – $75,000 annually, with opportunities for additional benefits based on skills and experience.

Responsibilities

• Attend weekly meetings, relaying information about upcoming events to staff under supervision.
• Supply information about the restaurant’s capabilities and programs to other departments, clients, and potential guests.
• Respond to needs and requests of guests and potential guests.
• Ensure implementation and maintenance of standards of food, beverage, and service quality commensurate with first‑class operation.
• Implement effective cost controls for food, beverage, and labor.
• Understand, read, and explain profit & loss statements, labor reports, and cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Develop workable systems for inventory, receiving, and product utilization (product cost).
• Establish standards of productivity for food & beverage personnel.
• Implement company‑wide system for menu creation, ensuring appealing, high‑quality, and marketable cycle menus and special event menus.
• Create a comfortable atmosphere to encourage committed and loyal employees.
• Oversee hiring and training programs for food and beverage personnel, fostering employee development.
• Develop management skills in employees across the department.
• Oversee weekly payroll for the department.
• Assist other Food & Beverage outlets as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager in a luxury hotel or full‑service resort.
• Knowledge of Micros restaurant management system.
• Ability to make quick decisions in high‑stress situations.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Pleasant and positive personality.
• Highly organized.

Compensation

$65,000 – $75,000 per year, with additional benefits and compensation based on your skills, experience, and location.
