Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is a technology consulting and software company seeking a Firmware Software Engineer to design and build software tooling, firmware, and infrastructure that support semiconductor design, verification, manufacturing, and post-silicon validation.

You will partner with hardware engineers and EDA teams to accelerate silicon development cycles and improve yield, performance, and quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, EE, or related field.
6+ years in software engineering with semiconductor experience.
Proficient in C, C++, and Python.
Experience with EDA, verification, or post-silicon validation workflows.
Experience with large-scale compute infrastructure (grid, cloud, HPC).
Strong scripting and automation skills.
Experience with data pipelines for design or characterization data.
Excellent debugging and documentation skills.
Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design and build software tooling, firmware, and infrastructure for semiconductor design, verification, manufacturing, and post-silicon validation.
Collaborate with hardware engineers and EDA teams to accelerate silicon development cycles and improve yield, performance, and quality.
Translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions and participate in design reviews.
Mentor junior engineers and uphold engineering discipline.
