Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Hardware Software Integration Engineer to design and build tooling, firmware, and infrastructure supporting semiconductor design and post-silicon validation. This remote role partners with hardware and EDA teams to accelerate silicon development and improve yield, performance, and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, EE, or related field.
• Six+ years of software engineering experience in semiconductor environments.
• Strong programming skills in C, C++, and Python.
• Experience with EDA, verification, or post-silicon validation workflows.
• Solid understanding of low-level hardware-software interaction.
• Experience building large-scale compute infrastructure (grid, cloud, HPC).
• Strong scripting and automation skills.
• Experience with data pipelines for design or characterization data.
• Excellent debugging and documentation skills.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and build software tooling, firmware, and infrastructure to support semiconductor design, verification, manufacturing, and post-silicon validation.
• Partner with hardware engineers and EDA teams to accelerate silicon development cycles and improve yield, performance, and quality.
• Raise the bar through code reviews, design reviews, and mentorship of junior engineers.
• Translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions and ship meaningful work in production.
