Job summary

Global Business Ser. 4u seeks a seasoned Embedded Software Engineer for a 12-month contract in Avon, OH. You will design, code, and test firmware for embedded systems, using C/C++ on ARM MCUs, and work with RTOS in diverse customer projects.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in EE or CS and 5+ years in firmware, with strong RTOS experience, embedded C/C++, device drivers, and familiarity with communication protocols. On-site role in Avon, OH.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• 5+ years of Firmware Engineering experience.
• Significant Embedded RTOS experience (e.g. FreeRTOS, Zephyr, VxWorks, TI-RTOS).
• Experience working with communication protocols.
• Embedded C or C++ development.
• ARM microcontrollers.
• Device driver development.

12 month contract

Location-Avon Ohio

Full cycle Embedded Software Engineering, including all of the following: software specification, software design, embedded coding and development, software testing, software documentation.

• Design, code, and test embedded systems firmware


• Embedded development / coding in C/C++ language


• Partner with internal Engineering team on a variety of different projects with customers in a wide range of industries

Must Have

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or a similar field


• 5+ years of Firmware Engineering experience


• Significant Embedded RTOS (real time operating systems) experience. Examples include; FreeRTOS, Azure (previously known as ThreadX), Zephyr, QNX/Neutrino, VxWorks, Integrity (Green Hills), MQX, uC/OS(“Micro-C OS” or Micrium OS), TI-RTOS, SEGGER embOS


• Experience working with communication protocols


• Embedded C or C++ development


• ARM microcontrollers


• Device driver development
