Job summary

The American Heart Association is seeking a Sr. Financial Systems Analyst in Dallas, TX, to bridge Finance and Business Technology for EPM applications and reporting.

You will develop and maintain financial data structures, forms, and reports, supporting monthly closes, forecasts, and budgeting processes in a collaborative environment. You will work with Accounting, FP&A and technology teams, ensuring data integrity, governance, and timely, accurate reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, or information systems.
  • Five (5) years of experience.
  • Oracle Financial Applications or comparable systems.
  • Analytical thinking, attention to detail, change management, collaboration, consulting, cost estimation, data analytics, effective communication.
  • Engineering analysis and product/process management related skills.
  • Problem solving and time management.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the finance functional administrator for Oracle EPM applications.
  • Maintain dimensions, hierarchies, metadata, forms, security, business rules and reporting structures.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close, forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Monitor application performance and coordinate issue resolution with Business Technology and Oracle support teams.
  • Maintain governance, controls, and documentation related to EPM applications and business processes.
  • Design, develop, and maintain management and financial reports within Oracle EPM Reports and Smart View.
  • Develop executive, management and operational reporting packages.
  • Ensure financial reports reflect approved statements, account structures, and hierarchies.
  • Validate report results and reconcile outputs to source financial data.
  • Participate in system upgrades and UAT testing.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to EPM and Smart View users.

Responsibilities

As a member of the Finance organization, the Sr. Financial Systems Analyst serves as the primary liaison between Finance and Business Technology, ensuring EPM applications, reporting structures, and financial data support the company’s planning, forecasting, consolidation, close and management reporting processes. This role ensures data integrity across all EPM applications.

Under the supervision of the Financial Reporting Manager, this role serves as the primary developer of EPM reports working closely with Accounting, FP&A and technology teams to deliver accurate, timely and business-focused reporting solutions.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary minimum to the midpoint of the range is $86,900.00 to $115,900.00. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials may apply to the pay range. The American Heart Association reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range.
