1. Responsibilities

This role requires a strong Strategic Finance professional who is able to work effectively across several finance disciplines (Investor Relations, Corporate Development and Financial Planning & Analysis) and cross-functionally to drive key initiatives and solve problems, such as:

• Perform detailed financial modeling, valuation analyses, and due diligence on potential investment opportunities and transactions
• Conduct comprehensive industry research and competitive analyses to identify market trends and investment opportunities
• Prepare pitch books, Board presentations, and investment memoranda with compelling financial narratives
• Support the execution of mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and restructuring transactions
• Build and maintain the Company’s strategic long-range financial model
• Become the absolute expert on key financial metrics and unit economics of the business
• Develop finance-led viewpoints on the efficiency of all large strategic initiatives across the business
• Support and lead planning cycles with senior management
• Other duties as assigned

2. Experience

• 4+ years of experience in accounting, financial and analytical roles or a combination of education and experience
• Experience in effectively presenting key data including to senior management
• 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or related financial services

3. Skills

• Excellent understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
• Advanced financial modeling skills (building and owning a three-statement model, valuation, and pricing analyses)
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and juggle several tasks with high quality and attention to detail
• Demonstrates intellectual curiosity, a passion for financial markets and is energized by an entrepreneurial environment.
• Exhibits strong problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking
• Maintains professional demeanor and confidentiality when handling sensitive information
• Collaborates effectively within cross-functional teams
• Shows dedication to continuous learning and professional development
• Independently capable of seeking information, solving problems, and delivering results with a “get stuff done” mentality
• Strong knowledge of Google Suite (Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Excel)
• Experience with financial planning systems are a plus: Adaptive, Netsuite, Anaplan, etc.

4. Education, Certifications, Licenses

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred
• FINRA certifications preferred (even if inactive)
