Job summary

Textron Systems, part of Textron, is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst – Programs to perform detailed financial analysis and reporting for assigned contracts.

You will maintain forecasts, create budgets, and generate EACs, with exposure to Earned Value management and government contracting environments. You will collaborate with Program leadership and Finance to deliver timely financial insights, establish baselines, and mentor junior staff while ensuring compliance with internal controls and

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Program Finance/Government contracting experience essential.
  • Program baseline planning, forecasting, and financial support.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management.
  • Familiarity with FAR/DFAR.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
  • Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must have, or be able to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Advise program managers and business leaders during monthly reviews and key decisions.
  • Serve as primary liaison between Finance and Program leadership teams.
  • Provide real-time updates to Finance Manager on changes in program financials and execution.
  • Create and maintain standard financial reports: orders, sales, cost, profit and cash flow forecasts; Monthly Status Reports.
  • Develop Earned Value reports (IPMDAR, CFSR, CSDR) and related outputs.
  • Ensure program financials comply with SOX and Internal Controls.
  • Establish baselines and EACs in the Earned Value tool (Deltek Cobra).
  • Analyze program data to ensure accurate and complete estimates.
  • Mentor junior staff to strengthen the Program Finance talent pipeline.

About This Role

The Sr. Financial Analyst will be primarily responsible for performing detailed financial analysis and reporting for their assigned contracts. In this role, the Sr. Analyst maintains forecasts and provides EACs for various programs. Under the direction of a Finance Manager, the Sr. Analyst will generate and track monthly budgets, cost projections, and sales and profit estimates, in addition to various Earned Value reports.

Responsibilities
  • Use analysis and financial data to advise program managers and business leaders during monthly reviews and during critical business decisions

  • Serve as primary liaison between Finance and Program leadership teams

  • Provide real-time information to Finance Manager regarding changes in program financials and execution

  • Create and maintain standard financial reports: orders, sales, cost, profit and cash flow forecasts, Monthly Program Status Reports

  • Create and maintain various Earned Value reports, including but not limited to: IPMDAR, CFSR, CSDR

  • Ensure program financials are in accordance with SOX and Internal Controls

  • Establish and maintain baselines and EACs in the Earned Value tool (Deltek Cobra)

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required, degrees in Accounting or Finance preferred.

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Program Finance/Government contracting experience is a must

  • Program baseline planning, forecasting, and financial support

  • Experience with Earned Value Management

  • Familiarity with FAR/DFAR

  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.

  • Ability to be a self-starter and work with minimal supervision

In compliance with the local pay transparency law, the pay range for this position is

$92,600 - $116,100 per year.
