Job summary

H-E-B seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to perform research and prepare financial analyses to support essential Corporate planning decisions. You will design and execute analysis processes to provide financial solutions and conduct highly complex analyses to inform strategic programs.

The role includes advising on P&A programs, processes and policies, plus leading cross-functional projects and performance-improvement initiatives. Travel may be required; CPA/CMA are nice to have but not required.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in financial analysis.
• Knowledge of retail accounting-finance principles related to forecasting/budgeting and decision models.
• Ability to work with all levels of management and partners.

Analytics

Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions

• Designs and develops analysis processes focused on providing a financial solution
• Performs highly complex analysis of information used to make decisions on implementation of strategic programs and changes
• Evaluates / scorecards innovative, strategic programs to measure effectiveness

Advising

• Acts as consultant on P&A programs, processes, policies

Project Management

• Develops and implements performance improvement strategies, evaluates ongoing project performance
• Participates in cross-departmental projects
• Leads cross-functional special projects as necessary
