Job summary

Milwaukee Tool seeks a finance professional with 5+ years in finance or accounting to provide strategic financial support to Sales & Channel leadership. You will forecast, analyze, and advise on profitability for key customers and programs, collaborating across functions to drive income statement improvements.

The role emphasizes updating dashboards, improving reporting, and delivering insightful analyses to inform pricing, promotions, and investments within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounting.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Effective communication with all levels of the organization (written, verbal, presentation).
• Understands impact to income statement and interconnections of multiple P&L lines.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial support and direction to Sales & Channel leadership overseeing key strategic customers.
• Effectively communicate assumptions made in budget, forecast, and stretch opportunity scenarios.
• Oversee, plan, and support field team activities including merchandising initiatives and Sales Specialist Teams.
• Review and understand customer/distributor program offerings and impact to channel profitability.
• Provide post-mortem analysis for commercial investments including topline growth, promotional offers, mix analysis, incentives, and pricing decisions.
• Partner with sales leads to provide financial analysis and recommendations through the lens of P&L viability.
• Update reporting tools and dashboards, streamline and automate reporting processes.
• Identify knowledge gaps and develop tools, processes & models to provide meaningful information to internal customers.
• Demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement by eliminating non-value-added activities.

The TOOLS you’ll bring with you:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Finance or Accounting
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
• Able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization (written, verbal, presentation, and listening).
• Understands business impact to income statement and interconnectedness of multiple P&L lines
• Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI
