Senior Financial Analyst

Austin, TX (Collab/Hybrid)

As a part of Sony Interactive Entertainment, PlayStation is leading the cloud gaming revolution, putting console-quality video games on any device.

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you are capable of handling the review, analysis, and approval of costs for the Software Technology & Operations Group. You enjoy facing new challenges and the sense of accomplishment from tackling them. Never a dull day, a healthy mix of various projects ensures that the work is both challenging and fast paced.

Responsibilities:
  • Cost modeling and accounting: Lead in managing, improving, and expanding our network cost models, including but not limited to compute, storage, colocation, and network cost models & allocations. Integrate these models into our financial forecasts, expand data to determine metrics, update network forecast models, reconcile project-based models, and assist in ad-hoc financial analyses.
  • Budget controls: Review, track, and plan spend, obtain approval for unbudgeted expenses, prepare quarterly reviews, and handle other cost management tasks.
  • FP&A: Manage and improve budget models, analyze expenses to identify variances, reconcile assets, review amortization schedules, provide summaries, and liaise with regional partners.
  • Skills and Knowledge: BA/BS with at least 5 years of relevant experience, proficiency in financial modeling, cost accounting, forecasting, strong Excel skills, and experience in networking/cloud industry is a plus.
Additional Information:

Please refer to our Candidate Privacy Notice for data processing information. The estimated base pay range is $134,200—$201,400 USD. This role is eligible for top-tier benefits, potential bonuses, and is based on various factors including location and experience.
