Job summary

Apex Tool Group is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to partner with Sales and Marketing for North America FP&A. The role owns sales compensation, agency, incentive, and performance reporting, delivering insights that drive profitable growth. The position can be based in Hunt Valley, MD, Huntersville, NC or Apex, NC.

You will support monthly close, budgets, forecasts, and reporting, while driving automation and data quality across incentive and commission processes for NA Sales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, or related field.
• 3+ years of FP&A or related finance roles; experience in consumer goods or manufacturing a plus.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, modeling).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial results and recommendations clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).

Responsibilities

• Own the financial management and reporting lifecycle for North America Sales Agents, including onboarding, financial modeling, monthly performance analysis, commission payments, and internal/external reporting.
• Lead end-to-end financial administration of North America Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) programs, including performance tracking, model governance, SAP sales-territory master data maintenance, quarterly accruals, achievement calculations, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Develop and manage financial models supporting SPIFF incentive programs, including ROI tracking, accrual analysis, and payout calculations.
• Deliver timely and accurate global eCommerce reporting, analysis, and actionable insights to ATG leadership.
• Provide financial support throughout the monthly close, quarterly forecast, annual budget, and reporting cycles.
• Identify and implement opportunities to automate recurring reporting, strengthen controls, improve data quality, and simplify incentive and commission processes.
• Support ad hoc analysis and special projects that inform strategic and operational decision-making.
