EvergreenHealth in Kirkland, WA seeks a senior healthcare financial analyst to provide complex operational analyses to leadership and staff, collect data, and prepare evaluations of new and existing services while monitoring performance and identifying trends.

Primary duties include senior financial support to departments (budgeting, journal entries, accruals), reporting to leadership and committees, and presenting findings to administrators and physicians.

Formación

• BS/BA or higher in business or healthcare field
• At least 5 years of healthcare clinical financial analyst experience
• Strong skills in strategic planning, forecasting and budgeting
• Excellent data collection and financial analysis with management-level presentations

Wage Range: $87,443 - $139,859 per year

Posted wage ranges represent the entire range from minimum to maximum. For jobs with more than one level, the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Some positions also offer additional premiums based on shift, certifications or degrees. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience, level of education and internal equity.

Job Summary
Provides complex operational analysis to leadership and staff including both clinical and financial information. Collects data and prepares analyses of new and existing services and monitors ongoing performance. Participates in projects such as service line assessment and planning, including identifying key levees that drive success, assessing operational and financial performance, performing clinical analysis, determining market share and utilization factors, and identifying trends and best practices.

Primary Duties:

• Provides senior level financial support to departments including; complex analysis, budget support, research and answer questions regarding general ledger reports, journal entries, and other accounting matters raised by managers and other hospital staff, review R&E reports and initiate appropriate accruals monthly, provide support for departmental variance reporting and benchmarking.
• Provide reporting and decision making support to departmental and organizational leadership, administrators and physicians.
• Presents analysis and findings to department leadership and committees such as Advisory Boards. Participates on high-level committees, providing financial support as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

License, Certification, Education or Experience:

REQUIRED for the position:

• B.S./B.A. or higher degree in business or healthcare related field
• 5 years of healthcare clinical financial analyst experience
• Demonstrated skill in strategic planning, forecasting, and operational and capital budgeting preferably in the medical industry.
• Excellent decision support skills including data collection, financial analysis, and experience preparing and presenting management-level presentations.
• Familiarity with process improvement, project development, and problem solving leadership experience required.
• Knowledge of hospital and non-hospital care services.
