Job summary

The Freeman Company, a global leader in events, seeks a Senior FP&A Analyst for the Corporate Operations organization. You will support revenue modeling, budgeting and forecasting, and month-end P&L reporting, while tracking travel, staffing, and ad-hoc analyses.

You’ll gain exposure to Hyperion planning and executive-level presentations. Based in North Dallas, this role supports the Finance team with a hybrid schedule (2-3 days in-office per week).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance required; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of three to five years of progressively responsible roles in Accounting or Finance.
  • Experience with GAAP.
  • Strong aptitude in Microsoft Office; Hyperion Planning and SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret financial information to understand business conditions.
  • Prepare and coordinate executive presentations in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Create spreadsheets, charts and graphs identifying financial trends and analysis.
  • Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting using Hyperion Planning.
  • Develop monthly summary financial reports as needed.
  • Strategize on financial structures to maximize margin.
  • Develop ad-hoc management reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Summary

The Sr. FP&A Analyst for the Freeman Corporate Operations organization is responsible for executive support across the various Corporate Operations lines of business, revenue modeling, budgeting and forecasting, month-end P&L reporting, travel and entertainment expenses tracking, staffing analysis, and various financial and business ad-hoc analyses. This role provides user support and develop functional knowledge of the Hyperion Planning system.

This position will support our Finance team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week. This position is based out of our North Dallas office in Dallas, TX.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Analyze and interpret financial information to understand and interpret business conditions
  • Build and coordinate Executive presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel
  • Create spreadsheets, charts and graphs identifying financial trends and analysis
  • Proficiently use financial planning systems (Hyperion) to support annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting process
  • Develop and prepare monthly summary financial reports as needed
  • Strategize on financial and business structures to maximize margin
  • Develop ad-hoc management reports
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance from an accredited 4 year college or university is required; MBA Degree is preferred
  • Minimum of three to five years of progressively increasing roles and responsibilities in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Must have strong aptitude in Microsoft Office products (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, and MS PowerPoint; working knowledge of Hyperion Planning and SAP is preferred)
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
  • MBA, CPA or CMA preferred but not required.
