Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of FP&A or related analytical experience.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with advanced Excel.
  • Ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; detail-oriented with a growth mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for assigned sites.
  • Produce and analyze monthly performance including variance vs prior year, budget, and forecast.
  • Provide direct business support to sites: margin analysis, cost trends, KPIs.
  • Support global reporting with accuracy and consistency in results.
  • Develop financial models and scenario analyses for decisions and pricing.
  • Support capital project ROI analysis and post-investment tracking.
  • Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and leaders to improve decision-making.
  • Assist in pricing updates and standard costing with Sales and Ops.
  • Prepare management reporting and presentations for leadership and FP&A.
  • Collaborate to implement FP&A best practices and data quality improvements.

Job description

The Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A supports financial planning, forecasting, and performance management for an operating division of Enpro.

Reporting into the FP&A organization, the Senior Financial Analyst plays a key role in translating financial data into actionable insights, supporting capital investment decisions, and helping operating leaders improve business performance. This position is well-suited for a high-potential finance professional with a growth mindset who is eager to develop into a best-in-class business partner while collaborating closely with the broader FP&A team to help shape and advance Enpro FP&A best practices.

What You’ll Do:
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning activities for assigned operating sites
  • Produce and analyze monthly financial performance, including variance analysis versus prior year, budget, and forecast
  • Provide direct business support to operating sites, including margin analysis, cost trends, productivity initiatives, and operational KPIs
  • Support global reporting, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and transparency in financial results and forecasts
  • Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support operational decisions, cost actions, pricing discussions, and growth initiatives
  • Support capital project evaluation, including ROI analysis, post-investment tracking, and ongoing performance monitoring
  • Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and other functional leaders to improve financial understanding and decision-making
  • Key partner in product pricing and manufacturing cost analysis, supporting Sales and Operations in annual updates to product price list and standard costs
  • Prepare and maintain management reporting and presentations for leadership and FP&A stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the broader FP&A team to develop, refine, and implement Enpro FP&A best practices, tools, and standard processes
  • Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency, standardization, and data quality across FP&A and site-level reporting
  • Work closely with Accounting to ensure alignment between financial results, forecasts, and operational insights

What You’ll Bring:
Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or multi-site operating environment

  • Familiarity with OneStream or other financial planning tools
  • Experience leveraging SQL and business intelligence tools (such as PowerBI) to pull, transform, and analyze data from ERP, CRM, and data warehouse environments
