Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive financial analysis or accounting experience in manufacturing or gov contracting.
• Experience supporting private-equity-owned or investor-backed company and sponsor reporting.
• Strong manufacturing cost accounting, including standard costing and variance analysis.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, multi-entity consolidations, and technical accounting research.
• Advanced Excel; experience with ERP systems and BI/reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to present to non-financial stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and accuracy under deadline pressure.

The Role

The Senior Financial Analyst plays a critical role in providing the financial insight, analysis, and reporting that supports strategic decision-making across the company — including regular reporting to Zentech’s private equity ownership group and lenders. This position requires a strong command of financial and technical accounting principles, sharp analytical skills, and experience in a manufacturing and/or government contracting environment. Reporting to the Corporate Controller and frequently collaborating with the Chief Financial Officer, the Senior Financial Analyst helps ensure financial reporting meets GAAP standards as well as the performance, compliance, and reporting expectations of a private-equity-owned business.

What You\'ll Do

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Prepare monthly reporting packages, board presentations, and KPI dashboards

What We\'re Looking For

• 5+ years of progressive financial analysis or accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing or government contracting environment
• Experience supporting a private-equity-owned or investor-backed company — including sponsor reporting, board packages, and covenant compliance
• Strong understanding of manufacturing cost accounting, including standard costing, and variance analysis
• Proficiency in financial modeling, multi-entity consolidations, and technical accounting research
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems and BI/reporting tools
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and a high level of accuracy under deadline pressure
