You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling, analyze trends and KPIs, and collaborate with leadership to implement effective financial strategies. Experience in healthcare finance and CPA-preferred certification are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; Masters preferred.
• CPA certification (IDFPR) preferred.
• 5+ progressive financial analysis experience, with a healthcare finance background.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex financial analyses, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Analyze revenue and expense trends, variances, and KPIs to provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the hospital's mission.
• Provide financial expertise and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
• Oversee development, monitoring, and management of the hospital's annual budget, ensuring alignment with objectives.
• Assist in budgetary control efforts and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
• Generate comprehensive financial reports for senior management and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial policies and procedures.
• Conduct detailed cost analyses to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
• Collaborate with department leaders to implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Develop financial models to support capital investments, profitability analyses, and strategic planning.
• Maintain financial databases and systems; work with IT for reporting enhancements.
• Support financial audits and ensure adherence to healthcare regulations.

• Assist in financial audits and ensure adherence to healthcare financial regulations and standards.
• Implement and maintain financial policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior financial analysts as needed.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and resource within the finance department.

What you will need:

• Education: Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance Required, Masters Preferred
• Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) Preferred
• Experience: 5+ Progressive financial analysis experience, with a strong background in healthcare finance.
