A leading consulting firm is seeking a Sr Field Property Risk Engineering Consultant for a fully remote role available to residents of PA, NJ, MD, DE, or D.C. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree with extensive experience in risk engineering as well as strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience within the Risk Engineering area with a Bachelor’s Degree.
• 8+ years of experience within the Risk Engineering area with a High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Performing property / natural hazard risk assessments and risk improvement services.
• Managing account risk portfolio and providing account-level risk engineering.
• Providing advanced property consultative services to customers.

Job description

Sr Field Property Risk Engineering Consultant FULL REMOTE (must reside in either : PA, NJ, MD, DE OR D.C.) $125,000 to $150,000

Job Responsibilities :

• Performing property / natural hazard risk assessments and risk improvement services
• Performing plan reviews and supporting change management
• Managing account risk portfolio and providing account-level risk engineering to meet underwriting requirements and / or customer requirements where unattached from risk transfer
• Developing and implementing customer service strategies that reduce loss and improve customer operations
• Providing engineering support to the underwriting team by attending client broker meetings
• Monitoring property account engineering services to ensure that delivery is proper, on-time, and cost-effective
• Providing advanced property consultative services to customers, including identifying exposures with significant loss potential, investigation of cause / effect of major losses, and property management programs
• Assisting in marketing risk transfer insurance products in conjunction with underwriting professionals and agents across company business segments

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s Degree and 6 or more years of experience within the Risk Engineering area
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience within the Risk Engineering area
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Experience working in a team environment

Preferred :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Fire Science, or related degree
• Large account HPR property experience
• Account Executive & Loss Control / Risk Engineering experience within the insurance industry
• Automotive manufacturing industry experience / knowledge
• Strong communication and consultative skills
• History of working successfully in a team environment
• High degree of proficiency related to PC and Software or systems
