The schedule for this position is M-F days, 1st shift - subject to change in the future, depending on department needs.
About This Role
As a Sr. Facilities Technician I, you will play a pivotal role in our facilities team, operating and repairing site utilities including Air Handler Units, Heating Hot Water, Chilled water, Steam, and various water systems. Your expertise will ensure the seamless functioning of utility equipment and contribute to the success of our production and lab operations. You will have broad expertise across building facility equipment, providing troubleshooting insights, assisting in upgrades, and establishing maintenance practices. This role is vital for delivering value by ensuring reliable and safe utility delivery, impacting business operations, environmental comfort, and asset protection.

You are safety-conscious with advanced understanding of utility and mechanical systems. You communicate effectively, collaborate well, and are skilled at drafting SOPs, authoring PMs, and reading engineering drawings. You thrive under deadlines, are adaptable to rotating shifts, extended hours, and weekends. You are team-oriented and proactive, understanding your role's importance in operational excellence.
This work requires occasional ladder climbing, entering mechanical spaces, lifting up to 50 lbs., and standing for up to 3 hours.
You will frequently move around the campus to access equipment and perform tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
The hourly range is $34.62 - $45.19, determined by skills, experience, location, and internal equity. Regular employees are eligible for incentives, including bonuses and stock options.
