Position Overview

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) is seeking a Senior Facilities Manager to oversee building operations and maintenance for a 500,000 sq ft Research & Development Manufacturing facility in Newark, DE. This role involves managing staff, coordinating repairs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and develop staff; conduct performance evaluations and recruitment.
  • Lead daily team activities, assign tasks, and mentor staff.
  • Oversee facility repairs and maintenance with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
  • Maintain positive client relationships and resolve facility issues.
  • Manage capital projects, budgets, and operational reports.
  • Conduct facility inspections ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Develop environmental health and safety procedures.
  • Manage vendor relationships, invoicing, and procurement.
  • Model CBRE RISE values and influence team behaviors.
  • Address technical and operational challenges.

Qualifications
