About the role

As a Sr. Facets Config Analyst, you will make an impact by designing and implementing configuration solutions within the Facets platform to support Medicaid and Medicare programs. You will be a valued member of our healthcare technology team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure accurate claims processing and system performance.

In this role, you will
  • Conduct requirements discovery sessions with clients to define configuration outcomes and identify gaps.
  • Interpret provider contracts and configure pricing requirements using the Facets NetworX module.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve claim pend issues through configuration adjustments or workarounds.
  • Lead configuration efforts for new implementations and ongoing maintenance of groups, classes, plans, and products.
  • Perform backend validation using SQL queries to ensure configuration accuracy and alignment with claims processing.
  • Advise clients on optimal configuration strategies in collaboration with business teams.

What you need to have to be considered
  • Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience configuring the Facets system.
  • Proven ability to configure and maintain Group, Class, Plan, Product, Provider Contracts, Pricing, Benefits, Service Groups, Fee Tables, and Workflows.
  • Strong experience with backend SQL queries for configuration validation and defect resolution.
  • Familiarity with Medicaid and Medicare lines of business.
  • Ability to analyze and implement configuration solutions to improve auto-adjudication rates for claims.
These will help you stand out
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in a healthcare payer environment.
  • Experience working in both implementation and maintenance phases of Facets configuration.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable to remote work environments.
Salary and Other Compensation

Applicants will be accepted till 10/6/2025

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $93K - $109K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant039s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
