Job summary

Jacobs Management Group is seeking a Sr. Extrusion Engineer / Senior Process Engineer for medical tubing. You will own the extrusion process from development through commercialization, serving as the technical lead and mentor for the team onsite.

You will design tooling, lead IQ/OQ/PQ activities, and drive process capability with root cause investigations. The role emphasizes hands-on machining of dies, tips, mandrels, and fixtures, and occasional international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience designing extrusion tooling (dies, tips, mandrels, fixtures).
• Proven track record implementing IQ/OQ/PQ protocols.
• Strong background in extrusion process development and validation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, validate, and sustain extrusion processes for medical tubing.
• Design and qualify extrusion tooling and downstream tooling.
• Lead process characterization and capability studies; drive CAPAs.
• Own PFMEAs, control plans, and SOPs; support customer audits.

Sr. Extrusion Engineer / Senior Process Engineer, Medical Tubing

My client makes medical tubing, and this role owns the extrusion process behind it. You'll be the technical lead from new product development through commercialization, and the engineer the rest of the team learns from.

• Support technical quoting, manufacturability assessments, and customer audits
• Mentor engineers, technicians, and manufacturing staff
