The Senior Events Marketing Specialist is a senior individual contributor within the Events Marketing team, responsible for the end-to-end planning and delivery of a delegated portfolio of events within the PSI global B2B events program - a portfolio spanning seven business programs, approximately 160+ annual events, and seven strategic Tier 1 events across the professional certification market, state licensure, and federal assessment programs, alongside owned assessment brands.
Reporting to the Events Marketing Manager, the Senior Events Marketing Specialist independently owns assigned events from planning through delivery and post-event reporting - including exhibitions, conferences, roadshows, client events, and networking receptions - and provides senior support on Tier 1 events, including platinum sponsorships, large-format exhibition booths, speaker programs, and executive hospitality. The role manages supplier relationships, logistics, and event budgets for its portfolio, coordinates cross-functional colleagues during live events, and acts as a senior point of expertise and quality within the team, supporting the onboarding and development of junior team members without direct line management responsibility.
This role is a full-time permanent position, flexible from Monday to Friday during typical office hours, with evening and weekend work required based on the event calendar. Regular domestic and international travel should be expected to support event delivery.

Provide senior support on Tier 1 events, including sponsorship activation, exhibition builds, meeting rooms, speaker programs, product demonstrations, and executive hospitality.
Coordinate domestic and international logistics, including exhibition assets, warehousing, shipping, and return logistics.

Manage budgets for assigned events, including raising purchase orders, tracking expenditure, negotiating with suppliers, and supporting reconciliation.
Manage day-to-day supplier relationships across exhibition organisers, booth builders, shipping providers, AV, venues, catering, print, and promotional merchandise.
Deliver post-event reporting, ROI analysis, surveys, and operational metrics for assigned events, feeding insights into portfolio planning.
Maintain event data and workflows in the team's platforms (e.g. Cvent, Monday.com, Salesforce, HubSpot), ensuring accuracy and transparency.
Identify and recommend improvements to event processes, attendee experience, and event-technology.
Act as a senior point of expertise within the events team, supporting the onboarding and development of junior team members and sharing best practice, without direct line management responsibility.
Partner with Sales, Marketing, and business unit stakeholders to align event objectives, audiences, and follow-up plans that drive pipeline and account engagement.
Deputise for the Events Marketing Manager on assigned events and programs where required.
Education to Bachelor’s degree level in marketing, business, communications, media, event management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Substantial experience planning and delivering B2B exhibitions, conferences, and proprietary events, including international events.
Proven ability to own events end-to-end independently, including budgets, suppliers, logistics, and on-site delivery.
Experience supporting large-scale or Tier 1 events, including sponsorship activation and executive-level engagements.
Strong working knowledge of event and project management platforms, e.g. Cvent, Monday.com, Eventbrite, plus Salesforce and HubSpot.
Excellent organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent events in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience supporting senior and executive stakeholders.
Understanding of how events integrate with demand generation and account-based marketing to drive pipeline.
Experience in the assessment, education, or professional certification industries preferred.
