Job summary

DataMaxis is actively seeking an experienced, high-caliber Sr ETL Data Engineer to join our client team on a long-term remote contract basis. Detailed Job Description:

As a Sr ETL Data Engineer supporting enterprise cloud migration and data integration initiatives via DataMaxis on a remote basis, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of ETL architecture, data pipeline performance, and cloud data warehousing. Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining robust ETL/ELT data pipelines using Informatica and Python, writing scalable distributed data processing scripts in PySpark, and implementing cloud storage and data solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will collaborate closely with data architects, business analysts, and analytics teams to ensure high data quality, optimize query execution, and maintain rigorous data governance standards. Furthermore, you will troubleshoot complex pipeline failures, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior data engineers.
