Job summary

CBTS is seeking a Sr Estimator in Mason, OH to lead cost estimation on 4-5 concurrent projects. The role requires mentoring junior estimators, reviewing bids, budgets, and reading complex plan sets to ensure accuracy and competitiveness. Onsite, full-time position with a competitive salary.

The ideal candidate will have strong budgeting skills, experience reading plans, and a willingness to use Blue Beam or learn it quickly to support proposals and client needs.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage 4-5 projects simultaneously.
• Mentor junior estimators and review work (levels 1 and 2).
• Proficient in budgets, proposals, and reading plans.
• Blue Beam Experience preferred but can be learned.

Responsibilities

• Mentor level 1 and 2 estimators, reviewing work and ensuring accuracy.
• Read plans and budgets to prepare accurate estimates.
• Coordinate with project teams to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Qualifications

• Need to handle 4-5 projects at a time
• This group is more of a “team” so this person will need to be comfortable mentoring and working with the level 1 and 2 estimators – checking work, reading plans, budgets, proposals, etc.
• Blue Beam Experience is preferred but they can learn it if they don’t have it.
