Position Summary

The Epic Beaker Analyst supports inpatient and outpatient laboratory workflows through the Epic Clinical and Anatomical Lab applications and related systems such as blood bank and data innovations. This role involves designing, building, testing, and implementing lab software applications in collaboration with operational leaders, end users, and IT staff to ensure workflows are accurate, effective, compliant with regulations, and optimized for patient care.

Qualifications

• License/Certification/Registration: Epic Beaker Clinical Pathology Certified - Required
• Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience may substitute for degree
• Experience: 7+ years in a hospital/clinic healthcare setting supporting an EHR or related applications; experience with software tools for application build and data manipulation
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of healthcare and financial software, effective communication skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, proficiency with Microsoft Office, familiarity with software development cycle, leadership and organizational skills, project management experience
